At the heart of Yichang, Hubei Province, Jiangsu Architectural Landscape Design has reimagined the riverside park as a public space that marries the tranquility of nature with the vibrancy of city life. The park's design, inspired by the flowing waters of the Yangtze River, incorporates a palette of blues that reflect the hydrological theme, while dynamic Lipotes vexillifer sculptures serve as playful reminders of the importance of ecological conservation.

The project, which began in November 2021 and concluded in June 2023, represents a significant upgrade to the park's landscape. The design team's innovative use of hyperlinks not only expands the riverfront road system but also introduces view corridors and comfortable seating areas, inviting visitors to indulge in the picturesque river vistas. The integration of diverse businesses and the revitalization of the dock area with a trendy industrial aesthetic further enhance the park's allure.

Utilizing materials such as granite stone, maroon bamboo, and native Three Gorges Stone, the park's infrastructure harmonizes with its natural surroundings. The inclusion of stilt buildings and earthing roof treatments, coupled with floodlight and anodised aluminium panels, exemplifies the blend of traditional and contemporary design elements.

Child-friendly features are a cornerstone of the park's design, with amenities such as parent-child sand areas, non-powered water facilities, and special pumps for extreme sports. These elements underscore the park's commitment to being a versatile space for visitors of all ages. The design team's thoughtful vegetation configuration along the riverfront ensures unobstructed views and the creation of open spaces that foster community engagement and leisure.
